Job Summary:
We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Intern to support our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is eager to develop foundational sales and business operations skills. You’ll gain hands-on experience in CRM management, sales operations, lead qualification, and customer engagement while supporting high-impact initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- CRM Management: Accurately input, update, and manage customer and sales data in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Maintain data hygiene and generate pipeline and activity reports.
- Order Processing & Tracking: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, verify details, resolve discrepancies, and track delivery timelines.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in reaching targets by scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, generating quotes, and managing follow-up tasks.
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate inbound and marketing-generated leads for fit and priority. Reach out to qualified leads and support early engagement.
- Sales Operations Support:
- Organize and update sales documentation including contracts, price sheets, and playbooks.
- Assist in preparing dashboards and performance reports to support decision-making and performance tracking.
- Relationship Management: Help foster strong customer relationships by understanding client needs, offering tailored recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction through consistent follow-up.
- Product Knowledge & Training: Develop deep familiarity with our products/services and support enablement efforts by preparing training content for external sales teams or partners.
- Customer Outreach: Conduct proactive outreach via calls, emails, and digital platforms to build pipeline, nurture existing accounts, and surface new sales opportunities.
- Campaign Coordination: Support the planning and execution of sales campaigns, and track their progress toward defined goals.
Required Skills:
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Comfortable with multitasking and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about sales strategy and operations.
