Harbinger Motors is seeking a Battery Test Technician to join our fast-paced and innovative team. In this hands-on role, you'll be instrumental in the characterization and validation of high-voltage battery packs, contributing to the development of our cutting-edge electric vehicle technology.
What You'll Do
As a member of our Battery Test Team, your responsibilities will include:

Building and fabricating: Constructing test harnesses, fixtures, and test stands.

Test Execution: Operating test equipment, running and monitoring active test setups, and assisting with battery safety testing.

Instrumentation and Data Collection: Instrumenting Devices Under Test (DUTs) with sensors and making thermocouples for accurate data collection.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving wiring issues, maintaining test equipment, and ensuring a neat and organized lab environment.

Collaboration: Supporting test engineers on various projects that involve thermally, mechanically, and electrically stressing components, and occasionally assisting offsite.
What You Bring

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a technician role or similar within an aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, or lab environment.

Technical Skills: Demonstrated fabrication and assembly skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Prior experience working with or around electric vehicle batteries and high voltage systems.

Additional Details
This is a full-time, onsite position with typical hours between 8 AM and 5 PM.

California Pay Range
$80,000 - $100,000 USD
