Product Manager, Legal Technical Systems

Harbor is seeking a Product Manager (Legal Technology Systems) to lead the development and growth of an integration platform that streamlines product integration between systems using the Microsoft Stack. You will define the product vision, guide the roadmap, and orchestrate cross-functional execution to bring this ambitious initiative to life.  This is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the USA or Canada. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Product Strategy & Vision 
    • Collaborate with company leadership and engineering teams to define and refine the product strategy aligned with business goals. 
    • Own the product roadmap based on market trends, customer feedback, and internal priorities. 
  • Customer & Market Discovery 
    • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability studies to deeply understand integration challenges and opportunities. 
    • Translate insights into actionable requirements and features. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration 
    • Partner closely with engineering, design, data, and marketing teams to deliver a world-class platform. 
    • Drive alignment and clarity across stakeholders through exceptional communication. 
  • Product Definition & Documentation 
    • Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. 
    • Prioritize and manage the backlog to ensure high-quality, timely releases. 
  • Execution & Delivery 
    • While this is not a management role, the Product Manager will lead the dev team in the planning, execution, and iteration of development & release cycles to accomplish goals defined in collaboration with company management, architecture, and GTM teams in an agile environment. 
    • Balance trade-offs between speed, scope, and scalability with technical teams. 
  • Go-to-Market & Enablement 
    • Coordinate product launches with marketing, sales, and customer success. 
    • Ensure all training, support resources, and documentation are in place. 
  • Measurement & Optimization 
    • Define and monitor key product metrics such as activation, retention, and NPS. 
    • Use data and experimentation to iterate and improve product experience. 

Core Skills: 

  • Technical Literacy: Solid grasp of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems. Ability to engage with architects and engineers. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; comfortable communicating across technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • SaaS Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, especially within the Azure ecosystem (Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake, etc.). Successful candidates will have a firm knowledge of: 
  • Security & Privacy: understanding how to protect customer data in the cloud, and a grasp of international data privacy standards 
  • AI: understanding of the benefits, risks, competencies, and core methodologies 
  • Empathy: Strong ability to understand customer needs and pain points, especially in B2B and enterprise integration scenarios. 
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing complex product lifecycles with multiple stakeholders and priorities. 
  • Business Context: Knowledge of Legal and Accounting industries is a plus, especially with respect to the Intapp product suite, Elite 3e, Aderant, Salesforce, Workday, etc. 

Qualifications: 

  • 5–7 years of experience in SaaS software development or implementation 
  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on platforms, integrations, or infrastructure products 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Masters degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Experience working with message bus technologies, event-driven architecture, or data lakehouse platforms. 
  • Exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) and AI-driven products. 
  • Familiarity with compliance and data integration in regulated industries.
