Certified Dental Assistant - Harbourfront Dental

Your Schedule

  • Monday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Wednesday: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Saturday: As needed

Why Your Role Matters

You are often the first smile patients see and the calm presence they remember. You help turn anxiety into trust and appointments into positive experiences.

In this role, you will:

  • Welcome and prepare patients with warmth and professionalism

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during a wide range of procedures

  • Take X-rays, record medical histories, and monitor vital signs

  • Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and ready for care

  • Sterilize and manage instruments with the highest standards of safety

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care

  • Support scheduling, records, billing, and insurance as needed

  • Respond confidently during dental emergencies

  • Uphold strict infection control and patient confidentiality

  • Continue growing through learning and new dental technologies

What You Bring

  • Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

  • Current CPR certification

  • A calm, caring, and professional presence

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Experience with dental software (an asset)

  • A deep respect for patient safety, privacy, and quality care
