Product Marketing Manager

About the Role

Senior Product Marketing Manager to developer-focused content initiatives, media/analyst relations, and product-specific activations and campaigns. This individual will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and executive leadership to clearly articulate our value proposition and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all customer touchpoints.

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing

  • Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for core products and major releases like Fabric

  • Lead product launches and feature rollouts from strategy through execution.

  • Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to inform messaging and strategic priorities.

  • Partner closely with Product and Sales to translate technical capabilities into clear, audience-relevant benefits.

  • Develop and maintain product one-pagers, battlecards, and other sales enablement assets.

Developer Content & Enablement

  • Design and drive content strategy focused on developers, including blog posts, tutorials, product deep dives, docs coordination, and community education.

  • Partner with DevRel and Engineering to surface technical insights and bring them to life through engaging, digestible content.

  • Ensure content aligns with SEO and thought leadership goals.

PR, Comms & Analyst Relations

  • Manage external communications strategy in partnership with agencies and internal spokespeople around specific product launches and brand activations.

  • Pitch stories to media, secure coverage, and build relationships with tech and industry journalists.

  • Support executive thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and contributed content.

  • Manage analyst briefings and relationship development.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on product marketing and/or developer-focused audiences.

  • Proven success launching technical products and leading messaging strategy.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills; you can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging copy.

  • Experience managing PR or communications programs, either in-house or via agency.

  • Comfortable interfacing with engineers, PMs, and executive stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with cloud, AI/ML, APIs, databases, or developer tooling preferred.

  • Self-starter with a bias for action and comfort in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with open source communities and DevRel teams.

  • Background in journalism, content strategy, or comms.

  • Hands-on skills in tools like Webflow, Asana, Figma, Salesforce, Apollo, HubSpot.

 

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

 

Interview Process:

Interview 1: 30 minute Zoom interview with Head of People

Interview 2: 60 minute Zoom interview with Hiring Manager, EVP of Marketing

Interview 3: 60 minute Zoom interview with 2 Marketing & Sales Leaders

Interview 4: 30 minute Zoom interview with Developer Relations

Interview 5: 30 minute Zoom or in person interview with Harper Co-Founders
