This role goes far beyond calendar management—it’s about enabling strategic focus, acting as a force multiplier, and keeping critical company initiatives moving forward. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver, a gatekeeper, a connector, and an air traffic controller who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to bring order to chaos.

This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to be at the heart of a rapidly scaling tech startup, working side by side with a visionary founder and a deeply committed executive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare CEO for meetings with briefing materials, context, and objectives.
  • Manage communications on behalf of the CEO—drafting emails, coordinating responses, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Track progress of key company initiatives and ensure the CEO has visibility on all moving parts.
  • Drive follow-ups from leadership meetings and ensure accountability across functions.
  • Maintain documentation, processes, and dashboards that keep the CEO informed and organized.
  • Organize all-hands meetings, board calls, offsites, and leadership summits.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, legal, investor relations, and HR on time-sensitive and confidential matters.

What We're Looking For

  • Startup DNA: You’ve supported executive leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth startup.
  • Executive Maturity: Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and judgment.
  • Extreme Ownership: You don’t wait for instructions—you see what needs to be done and take initiative.
  • Operational Rigor: You are obsessively organized, a pro at prioritization, and great at building repeatable systems.
  • Excellent Communicator: Clear, confident, concise, and thoughtful in both writing and speech.
  • Tech Fluency: You’re proficient with tools like Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and productivity apps.

Qualifications

  • Lives in Denver.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects, schedules, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience working remotely and independently within distributed teams.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity and discretion.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
