The Position
The Distribution Enablement team is responsible for helping grow our business through conducting robust data analysis, removing sales and servicing barriers, establishing close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and guiding focused efforts on key growth opportunities.
The Sr. Associate, Distribution Enablement will partner closely with the entire Distribution department and other Harris departments in addition to our parent company and wholesaling team, Natixis. This includes building and maintaining distribution reports, dashboards and analytics both proactively and in response to requests. You will be a specialist in internal and external data sources, helping uncover key insights from the data in order to drive business growth, enhance business intelligence and improve efficiency. You will own developing business analytical reports, while generating and centralizing data-driven opportunities based on current firm priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in intermediary and institutional distribution channels, client relationships, and supporting platforms.
- Design and maintain robust analytics on assets under management, gross and net flows, revenue trends, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business needs, propose analytical solutions, and translate objectives into actionable data insights.
- Conduct research on model placement and status recommendations to uncover growth opportunities.
- Share and present insights through compelling visualizations and data storytelling tailored to business audiences.
- Generate data-driven leads to support strategic and tactical initiatives across sales and marketing teams.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to deliver insights and recommendations for different business groups, while investigating and resolving data discrepancies.
- Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets using advanced statistical and modeling techniques.
- Partner with technology teams to enhance data collection, integration, governance requirements, while supporting the transition to a cloud-based analytics platform.
- Independently create dashboards and reports that benchmark Harris' position in the industry, across asset classes, and against key competitors.
- Assess and recommend acquisition of third-party data packages to expand market knowledge and identify product opportunities
- Continually investigate new analytical and data-enrichment tools, techniques, as well as emerging best practice standards in the industry.
- Champion data literacy, promoting informed decision-making and advanced analytics adoption across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in asset management or financial services is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint..
- Skilled in SQL for data manipulation and extraction, and Python experience is advantageous.
- Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or PowerBI.
- Exposure to platforms like Salesforce, Seismic, and other distribution tools.
- Strong ability to distill complex, large-scale data sets into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—paired with confident presentation abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and timely delivery.
- Highly proactive and adaptable, with excellent multitasking and organizational strengths, and a readiness to embrace change.

Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. If hired, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only one part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include a discretionary performance bonus and other Harris sponsored benefit programs.
Expected range for this Chicago-based role
$90,000 - $105,000 USD
