Director, Intermediary Distribution

Chicago

Harris Associates is one of the most respected value investment firms in the industry. For over 45 years, we have applied a fundamentally focused, research-driven investment process to identify undervalued companies in the public market. We view every investment we make as ownership in a business and take a long-term approach in our portfolios.

Harris Associates’ strong performance is a result of our unique culture and approach to investing. Instead of dividing our team into sectors, our analysts are all generalists, researching companies across a wide range of industries, countries, and cap sizes. This strategy lends itself to a highly collaborative environment, and our team works together daily to vet investment ideas and ensure we make the best possible decisions.

We are value investors. In constructing portfolios for our clients, we seek out companies that we believe are trading in the market at significant discounts to their underlying value. We believe in the importance of intensive, fundamental research. Our International Research team evaluates companies on the basis of their fundamental characteristics and we do that based on a disciplined screening process. At Harris Associates, we are just as focused on our clients as we are our investment philosophy. We’re proud of our client service and our long-term investment results.

The Director, Intermediary Distribution will have the primary objective to grow Harris | Oakmark’s RIA client base. Success in this role means having a proactive, hands-on, and collaborative attitude.  This individual will need to excel in an action-oriented environment and be proactive in establishing productive relationships with key stakeholders throughout the process.
