Harry’s is part of Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind category-leading brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, and Mando. Driven by a mission to “Create Things People Like More,”  the company is creating a new model—and home—for brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives and ultimately change the status quo. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. Mammoth Brands is committed to making a positive impact and donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date.

About the Role
Harry's is looking for a Copy Lead to lead the evolution of our brand voice and storytelling across every touchpoint. Reporting to the Head of Creative, this role blends high-level creative direction with hands-on writing. You’ll set the tone for how we speak to our customers—from bold campaign ideas to sharp, on-brand headlines and everything in between.

As Copy Lead, you’ll partner with art directors, designers, marketers, and strategists to develop work that is thoughtful, witty, and always rooted in who we are as a brand. You’ll help shape the narrative for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and evergreen storytelling, ensuring a cohesive and compelling voice across all platforms.

This role is equal parts creative visionary and craftsperson—leading by doing, mentoring writers, and ensuring every piece of copy is smart, fresh, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Harry’s brand voice, ensuring consistency across all channels while pushing for originality and cultural relevance.
  • Lead creative concepting, copy development, and storytelling across campaigns, product launches, and evergreen initiatives.
  • Write and edit copy across a wide range of formats: digital, social, email, video scripts, retail, packaging, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Team to bring ideas to life through copy and design, aligning work to brand strategy and seasonal priorities.
  • Translate strategy into compelling creative narratives that are consumer-first and resonate with Harry’s audience.
  • Review and refine longer-form storytelling assets like brand manifestos, campaign narratives, and scripts, infusing them with Harry’s wit and charm.
  • Stay tapped into culture, media, and digital trends to help shape modern, relevant messaging.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across DTC, Social, Retail, and Product Marketing to align messaging and execution.
  • Mentor and guide junior writers, providing thoughtful feedback and helping raise the bar for the entire copy team.
  • Manage multiple projects with clarity, speed, and creative excellence.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in brand, agency, or editorial environments, with a focus on consumer brands.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, voice development, and polished writing across multiple channels.
  • Mastery of brand writing, with the ability to shift tone as needed without losing authenticity.
  • Experience building or evolving a brand voice and applying it across campaigns, launches, and evergreen work.
  • Proven ability to work closely and collaboratively with art directors and designers to bring ideas to life cohesively through copy and visuals.
  • A team-first mindset—you see copy as part of a larger creative idea, not a solo endeavor.
  • Strong understanding of social, digital, and e-commerce platforms—and how to tailor messaging for each.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to champion and critique work constructively.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior writers, with a desire to help others grow and elevate the work.
  • Detail-obsessed and quality-driven, with high standards for everything from concepts to final punctuation.
  • A passion for storytelling, brand-building, and delivering work that resonates.
  • Bonus: Experience writing for men’s grooming, lifestyle, or wellness brands.

Who you’ll work with
You’ll be an integral part of the Brand Team, collaborating daily with art directors, designers, and strategists. You’ll also work closely with teams across Social, DTC, Product Marketing, and Retail to build messaging that feels cohesive, thoughtful, and uniquely Harry’s.

About You
You’re a natural storyteller who knows how to turn a phrase and craft copy that’s equal parts engaging, witty, and impactful. You have a sharp eye for detail—not just in the writing itself, but in the process. You take pride in delivering polished work, and you don’t flinch at the final rounds of reviews, cross-referencing, or quality checks. You understand that even the cleverest idea can be undermined by a typo, and you’re the kind of person who double-checks your own work before it goes out the door (or to the printer).

You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with designers, strategists, and marketers to bring ideas to life cohesively. You believe the best creative comes from working as a team—not just plugging in at the end. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and never afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

You’re energized by mentoring others, giving thoughtful feedback, and helping raise the bar for the work. If you have a great sense of humor, a passion for writing, and a respect for the details (even the not-so-fun ones), you’ll fit right in.
