We are seeking a Vice President of Sales – Walmart & Sam’s Club to lead one of Hasbro’s most strategic and high-impact businesses. This is a critical enterprise leadership role, responsible for shaping the future of our partnership with the world’s largest retailer.

We are investing in our Bentonville team and are excited to open a brand-new office space this summer located in the Pinnacle Hill neighborhood in Rogers, AR.  This critical leadership role, based in Bentonville, Arkansas, calls for a seasoned, forward-thinking sales leader who thrives in complexity, moves with pace, and leads with ownership.

A Day in the Life:

  • Own and evolve a multi-billion-dollar retail partnership across Walmart and Sam’s Club
  • Lead at the intersection of category strategy, digital acceleration, and franchise storytelling
  • Lead with clarity, urgency, and autonomy, navigating a matrixed organization while delivering outsized impact.

  • Shape how Hasbro shows up in a rapidly changing omnichannel retail environment
  • Operate as a general manager of the business, with end-to-end accountability and influence
  • Own full P&L accountability, delivering revenue, profit, and market share growth
  • Set and communicate a clear, compelling strategic vision aligned with Hasbro’s priorities
  • Lead joint business planning (JBP) across both banners, driving alignment and execution at scale

     

Drive Category & Omnichannel Leadership:

  • Leverage deep expertise in category management and retail dynamics to shape assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategies
  • Lead Hasbro’s omnichannel growth strategy
  • Use data, analytics, and insights to unlock growth opportunities and influence category direction

Own Shopper Marketing & Retail Activation:

  • Lead the shopper marketing function for Walmart & Sam’s Club, integrating media, merchandising, and promotions
  • Deliver insight-led, differentiated programs that elevate Hasbro’s presence in-store and online
  • Ensure seamless connection between brand strategy and retail execution, driving conversion and loyalty

Deliver Franchise-Led Growth:

  • Partner across brand, marketing, insights, and commercial teams to bring franchise strategies to life at Walmart
  • Lead execution of integrated commercial programs that differentiate Hasbro and drive category growth
  • Ensure Hasbro wins through storytelling, innovation, and execution excellence

Lead Strategic Partnerships (Walmart + Licensees):

  • Serve as the senior relationship owner with Walmart, building trusted partnerships at the highest levels
  • Lead and align partnerships with key licensors (e.g., Disney and others) within the Walmart ecosystem
  • Orchestrate collaboration across Hasbro, licensors, and Walmart to deliver cohesive, high-impact programs

Deliver Operational & Commercial Excellence:

    • Drive forecasting, supply alignment, and execution to achieve best-in-class service metrics
    • Lead rigorous business reviews, dynamically adjusting plans to deliver results

Build and Inspire a High-Performing Team:

  • Build, lead, and develop a world-class sales and customer marketing organization
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous growth
  • Develop talent and capabilities aligned to the future of retail

 

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a leading consumer or branded organization
  • Proven success leading Walmart and/or Sam’s Club businesses at scale
  • Deep expertise in category management, shopper marketing, and omnichannel retail
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, retail media, and Walmart’s evolving ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success operating within a matrixed organization, influencing across functions
  • Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering sustained, profitable growth
  • Exceptional executive presence, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, geographically distributed teams

 

The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.

Pay Range

$255,000 - $343,000 USD
