We're looking for a Marketing Creative Director to lead campaign creative across the Hasbro toys portfolio. In this role, you'll build how our brands show up in the world, from global product launches and retail moments to video content, digital, and social. You'll elevate our creative standards, unlock breakthrough ideas, and connect beloved brands with the kids, fans, and grown-ups who love them. And of course, have a lot of fun doing it!  

 

In the role of Creative Director for Hasbro Toys and Games Marketing, you will guide the creative vision, storytelling, and visual elements across a portfolio that includes preschool, action, collector, adult, and family play. You will be supported by internal teams of copywriters, designers, art directors, and partner with product marketing teams and toy studios to develop groundbreaking campaign platforms and launch new products and characters.  

This creative leadership role requires hands-on involvement, combining a strong understanding of how to inspire kids and kidults with visual and storytelling craftsmanship. It values a true appreciation of how toys are played with and a solid grasp of business aspects. The ideal candidate has directed creative campaigns for consumer, entertainment, or brand-based products. They shift easily from big-picture ideas to detailed actions, addressing retail needs, out of home, packaging placement, and global market variations. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing Creative to ensure our brands keep innovating while staying true to what makes them endure. 

 

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.

A Day in the Life of a Marketing Creative Director:

What You'll Do 

  • Take charge of the creative development and delivery toy and game marketing, encompassing campaign platforms, launch assets, video, retail, and digital creative. 
  • Collaborate with brand and product marketing leads to translate strategy into emotionally resonant, data-driven creative. 
  • Mentor and guide teams of internal creatives, helping them grow, complete work at a high level, and stay encouraged. 
  • Set and uphold the creative bar across all work, whether it's a global brand film or a single post between beats. 
  • Work with product development, development services, and licensing teams to uncover storytelling opportunities in each launch and maintain consistent brand expression from ad to package to shelf. 
  • Guide and encourage external agency partners and vendors, ensuring alignment to each brand's tone, visual identity, and audience. 
  • Balance the demands of a multi-brand portfolio, prioritizing effort, sequencing work, and knowing where a distinct brand voice matters versus where scale and system win. 
  • Represent creative in key meetings, working closely with senior leadership across the business. 

 

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of creative experience in brand or campaign work for consumer products, toys, entertainment, or organizations centered around intellectual property. 
  • 5+ years leading internal and external creative teams with a track record of strong mentorship and collaborative leadership. 
  • A deep love of visual storytelling, audience-first thinking, and brands people grow up with. 
  • Outstanding concepting, campaign development, and narrative instincts. 
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands and audience segments at once, from preschool to adult collector. 
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present ideas to senior customers and collaborators. 
  • A portfolio that showcases variety, creativity, and a strong grasp of how to engage audiences through creatively inspiring work. 

 

 

The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.

Pay Range

$155,300 - $269,100 USD
