The Wizards Play Network (WPN) plays a key role in this mission — assisting retailers, nurturing active play communities, and delivering excellent player experiences.

The WPN Retail Development Representative takes charge of growing and sustaining the Wizards Play Network throughout a varied, multi-market region spanning APAC. This position handles partner onboarding, retailer relationship management, and market expansion work across multiple markets characterized by diverse languages, regulatory settings, and retail progression levels.

Based in Singapore, the role is at the operational hub of the region. It enables efficient travel connectivity, aligns timezones across the group, and is close to the region's most developed WPN market.

What You’ll Do

WPN Partner Onboarding & Retailer Support

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new WPN retail partners across all seven markets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing WPN retailers, handling critical issues, product support queries, and account management
  • Maintain accurate records of retailer status, tier, and engagement across the region

Wizards Play Network Development

  • Develop and carry out Wizards Play Network growth plans, to drive store growth and develop the Southeast Asia region.
  • Identify and prioritize new partner opportunities based on local market potential to help expand play and commercial availability across the region.
  • Support in-store and community play programs to drive product velocity through the retail channel
  • Track and report on regional Wizards Play Network metrics

Regional & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with the wider APAC team to ensure consistent regional strategy and shared findings
  • Liaise with global WPN, marketing, and product teams on regional programs, launches, and promotional calendars
  • Provide market intelligence and on-the-ground insight to inform APAC-wide planning and headcount/coverage decisions

Travel & Market Presence

  • Travel regularly within the region to visit retail partners, attend/support events, and assess market conditions directly
  • Represent the company behind Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons at regional trade shows, conventions, and retailer events as required

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in retail development, channel sales, account management, or distributor/partner management, ideally within gaming, hobby, toy, or FMCG retail
  • Proven track record to manage a multi-market or multi-country portfolio independently
  • Familiarity with the tabletop gaming, trading card game (TCG), or collectible hobby retail landscape
  • Existing network of retail contacts in one or more of the covered markets
  • Prior experience working within a global brand's regional field team, reporting to an offshore manager
  • Strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills; comfortable working across markets with differing languages and business norms
  • Willingness and ability to undertake frequent travel across APAC
