Global Brand Manager-Star Wars

Boston, Massachusetts, United States

We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.

Are you ready to help lead the future of a galaxy far, far away?
Through our partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm, Star Wars represents legendary storytelling, cultural impact, and deep fan connection. We are looking for a commercially focused, curious, strategic, and driven Brand Manager to help guide the future of Star Wars at Hasbro.

In this role, you will be equal parts business manager, brand strategist, and product strategist. You will oversee global product development for the Star Wars Fan business while partnering with the global commercial teams to drive go-to-market planning, in-year line plan optimization, and profitable, sustainable, market share growth. Our ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the joy that these toys bring to fans around the world. In this critical role, you will partner with cross-functional teams (design & development, packaging, engineering, demand planning, finance) on all phases of product development, business and line planning. As such, the successful candidate will need to be a strategic, high-energy, and collaborative thought leader with an ambitious spirit and curious mind. Creativity, ingenuity, and financial acuity will help you build foundational insights on how to grow the business. We are looking for someone to bring insights on what’s new and cool for our consumer with the ability to help translate those opportunities into new products and experiences for fans.

Successful candidates have a deep appreciation for fandom, pop culture, and storytelling. They are proactive, energetic, collaborative, flexible, creative, analytical, strategic, and decisive - equally comfortable driving big-picture strategy and managing the details required to bring licensed products to market. They also prioritize relationships and the importance of teamwork.

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.

A Day in the Life as a Brand Manager:

  • Translate consumer research, fan insights, market trends, and competitive analysis into clear, insight-driven strategies and stories for internal teams and retail partners.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Managers and licensing partners on global briefs, brand positioning, and consumer-led marketing activation across digital, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Own point-of-sale (POS) performance narratives, with a clear understanding of portfolio drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support go-to-market planning, asset development, and messaging by providing product details, franchise context, and unique selling propositions.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, inform pricing strategies, and balance revenue and margin goals in partnership with sales and finance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5 years of experience in consumer goods, brand/product management, business management, or marketing (licensed brands experience a plus).
  • A strong passion for storytelling, pop culture, and fandom - with the ability to balance creative integrity and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing without authority in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Analytical and creative strength: comfortable with data, financials, and spreadsheets, while also excelling at ideation and narrative-building.
  • Experience working with international commercial teams and a strong understanding of omnichannel retail strategy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling business narratives for internal teams, licensors, and retail partners.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit balanced with strong organizational navigation skills.
