Global Sourcing Coordinator

Summary
Havenly is seeking a Global Sourcing Coordinator to join our Sourcing team and help support our rapid growth. We are looking for a detail- and action-oriented Coordinator to help manage our category and supplier expansion globally. This role reports to the Director of Global Sourcing and will work closely with cross-functional leaders in Sourcing, Merchandising, Design, and Marketing, as well as with overseas partners. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about product and has the tenacity to drive complex development to completion.
Responsibilities
- Global Sourcing:
- Source and evaluate new suppliers and manufacturers for home goods and furniture categories
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers
- Conduct product cost analysis and margin evaluations
- Assist in onboarding new vendors and maintaining accurate vendor documentation
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Design and Merchandising to develop and manufacture new products, including fabric, tooling, or specialty components
- Partner cross-functionally to develop all technical assets for a product such assembly instructions, packaging, or hardware
- Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure all products meet compliance and safety standards
- Vendor Relations:
- Operate between Design and vendors to honor and maintain design intent while optimizing for manufacturability throughout the development process
- Manage outside providers to develop any necessary parts, while keeping timelines, production schedules, costing, feasibility, final product quality, and consumer experience as key priorities
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met
- Communication:
- Communicate development status to appropriate team members, and ensure that necessary parties are informed and involved throughout the process
- Track and communicate all product specs, materials, timelines and details with Merchandising
- Special Projects:
- Manage special projects aligned with company strategic growth plans
Requirements
- 2-5 years international sourcing, production, or product development experience, ideally in Home or Furniture
- Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft excel skills, knowledge of project management or PLM, or Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Ability to confidently assemble product samples and use power tools for minor alterations
- Strong understanding of BOM level product costing, including an understanding of raw material properties
- Ability to build timing & action calendars, manage timelines, and effectively communicate risks or opportunities cross-functionally
- A strong commitment to file management and organization
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate working across global time zones
