We’re hiring an Associate Merchandising Manager to support the planning, development, and execution of category-level merchandising strategies across our multi-brand portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager, this person will play a key role in building strong assortments, analyzing performance, and partnering cross-functionally to bring product stories to life at Havenly Brands.

What You’ll Do


Category & Assortment Support
• Partner with the Senior Merchandising Manager to support category strategies across multiple brands.
• Conduct trend research, competitive analysis, and assortment benchmarking to inform product decisions.
• Assist in building seasonal line plans and assortment frameworks aligned with brand identity and financial objectives.
• Help prepare inspiration decks, product briefs, and assortment reviews for cross-functional teams.

Assortment Development & Product Execution
• Support the end-to-end merchandising process—including initial product concepting, sample management, pricing recommendations, SKU setup, and lifecycle tracking.
• Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure smooth collaboration between Merchandising, Planning, Product Design, Creative, and Marketing.
• Ensure product data, SKU information, and product details remain accurate and up-to-date across internal systems.

Business Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze weekly sales, margin, inventory, and productivity performance to support decision-making.
• Create and maintain reporting tools to track category health, wins, risks, and opportunities.
• Present actionable insights to the Senior Merchandising Manager and broader merchandising team.

Cross-Functional Partnership
• Collaborate closely with Planning on demand insights, inventory trends, and performance metrics—while Planning retains ownership of forecasting and inventory management.
• Work with Design on product briefs, development updates, and feedback loops.
• Partner with Creative and Marketing on photography needs, product storytelling, and seasonal launches.
• Coordinate with E-Commerce on online merchandising, setup accuracy, and customer experience considerations.

Operational Excellence
• Manage samples, product tracking, and vendor communication (as needed) to maintain category readiness.
• Own data accuracy and item setup processes to ensure products are launched on time and presented correctly.
• Help support process documentation, tool development, and organization as the merchandising function scales.

 

What You’ll Bring
• 3–5+ years of merchandising experience, ideally in home, lifestyle, furniture, retail, or a related consumer category.
• Strong product sensibility and a love for interiors, design, and storytelling.
• Solid analytical skills—including comfort with sales data, Excel/Sheets, and reporting tools.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple timelines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

 

Additional Details
• Full-time, exempt role based in Denver, CO or New York, NY, onsite 4–5 days/week.
• Travel may be required for market visits, brand reviews, and cross-brand initiatives.
