Senior Communications Signals Analyst
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Independently identify unknown communication signal external parameters using signals analysis tools for signals discovered within HE360 IQ data
- Independently interpret specific communication signal standards documentation and conduct open source research to understand details of communications signals for signals discovered within HE360 IQ data
- With limited guidance, conduct analysis of unknown communication signals discovered within HE360 IQ data
- Conduct QA/QC of HE360 communications signals products by exercising common customer work flows, use cases, as well as writing automated test scripts when applicable
- Serve as a POC for understanding common physics limitations/impacts to communications signals when using LEO collection platforms collecting signals in RF spectrum
- With some guidance, inform HE360 communications signals overall product vision and execution to include prioritization of specific communications technologies as well as product design and usability
- With some guidance, inform HE360 collection platform requirements to enable successful HE360 communications signal products
- With some guidance, conduct 3rd party communications signals product evaluations using HE360 IQ data
- Serve as a primary POC for using and demonstrating the value of HE360 communications signals products
- Train other HE360 employees on how to use HE360 communications signals products when applicable
- Work with HE360 SAs to tailor customer specific work flows using HE360 communications signals products
- Independently conduct country-wide explorations for communications signals of interest using HE360 communications signals products
- Generate vignettes for HE360 sales, product, and marketing teams to help showcase the value of HE360 communications signals products
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential education and experience:
- 10 years of experience analyzing communications signals for government or military applications
Desirable:
- STEM degree
- completed 451, 452, MSAP and/or SADP courses
- experience working with docker & K8's
- Scripting in Python or Bash
- Comfortable with Linux
- experience working with Airflow
- experience working with GIS platforms
We offer a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
Salary Range
$130,000 - $175,000 USD
