At Hayden, Senior Case Team Leads are responsible for managing projects, designing analytical workplans, and coaching our junior team. Throughout your tenure, you will be focused on mastering project oversight and moving into team leadership. Successful Sr. CTLs lead their teammates to design and execute against complex analysis plans, while managing the strategic alignment of a project. They manage internal project scope, resources, and potential risk to successfully address their client’s needs and support the project’s objectives. While we focus on the life sciences industry, you will learn business & strategy foundations that can be applied broadly throughout your career.
Daily & Monthly Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Research Mastery
- Lead teams members to design & execute complex analyses
- Share technical knowledge, expertise, and best practices with others
- Supports the team’s creative process and encourages brainstorming to refine analyses & insights
Generating Insights & Storytelling
- Strategically organizes analysis and data into concise and impactful solutions
- Exemplifies strong business judgement & discernment
Product Content & Delivery
- Establishes the vision and guides junior team members in the creation of content & deliverables
- Owns client deliverables from start to finish, and manages the delivery of the work with limited guidance
Project Management
- Lead concurrent workstreams with limited guidance
- Demonstrates strong decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
People Management
- Supports the development of 1-5 junior team members
- Monitors performance, provides timely & specific feedback, identifies individuals’ needs, and provides coaching & training

Minimum job requirements
- 4-5 years of work experience in consulting, data analytics, or other relevant areas within the life sciences
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication and quantitative skills, and a team contributor
- Good project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional literacy in Excel and PowerPoint
- Understand analytics, analytical approaches, and how to interpret and enhance data analytics created by junior staff
- A willingness or ability to travel as needed (15-20% on average)
Compensation-Senior Case Team lead
Your expected annual compensation for this level for base and bonus is between $177,000 and $188,000. In addition to your base salary and annual bonus, you will also be eligible for profit sharing (based on corporate performance), employer 401k match, and significant performance incentive awards which occur at time of promotion. Hayden considers many factors in our compensation decisions which include but are not limited to the following: individual skills set/job performance, organization and industry demand, individual experience level and training, and geographic location.
