Be the lead day-to-day eyes and ears of your allocated accounts. Internally and externally deliver an efficient, effective and profitable service.  Manage all jobs through agency systems and procedures, liaise with other departments as appropriate. 

What you'll do:

  • Integral member of team working with the agency and the client in developing and managing client business.
  • Provides category/retailer expertise and leadership in guiding internal teams across the agency to meet client goals ensuring that brand strategy and objectives are being met.
  • Develops rapport with clients troubleshooting conflicts as they arise.
  • Plans and executes assignments that are on strategy, on time and on budget.
  • Delivers polished Client presentations, both written and verbal.
  • Actively contributes to overall idea generation with agency team.
  • Ensures that the financial and legal aspects of the campaigns/ projects/account(s) are managed according to agency procedures.
  • Take full responsibility for accurate Cost Estimates and budget trackers of all activity on the account.
  • Ensure that estimates are understood and approved/PO’d by Client – be able to explain and justify all the elements on an estimate to Client.
  • Controlling client budget efficiently and carefully (i.e. advising Clients of eventual or possible overspends in advance, or financial implications of their decisions) and to input into forecasting.
  • Understand details of any client retainer/scope of work in order to monitor and manager accordingly.
  • Have a clear understanding of client’s marketing plan/targets/objectives as well as the Agency client plan.
  • Have a thorough understanding of competitive market – category, brand, strategic implication and the wider sector/channel trends and developments. Be able to put together competitive reviews.
  • Able to judge creative ideas in terms of factual legal accuracy and relevance to  and adherence to the creative brief and provide constructive feedback.
  • Be able to distinguish between an advertising idea and an executional idea.
  • Strategic Understanding
    • Having a clear understanding of the client’s brand, business and marketing strategy.
    • Developing and gaining client insights that can drive new thinking.
    • Ability to work coherently with internal agency planning teams.
  • Managing the creative process
    • Demonstrate clear leadership in writing solid briefs for creative teams.
    • Managing the creative process from start to finish (both studio work and big idea generation).
    • Ensuring the creative output is on brand and per client requirements.
    • Front creative briefings meetings with client.
  • Drive Account Growth
    • Ability to identify organic growth opportunities both on existing accounts and potential new business opportunities.
    • Evidence of revenue generation.

Who you are:

  • Previous agency experience.
  • Integrated marketing experience.
  • Proven success in collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Regularly delivering quality work within budget parameters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
