Remote Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (Measurement-Informed Care) – Part-Time (California)

You’ll deliver care through Little Otter’s clinician-founded model, while being supported within the larger Hazel Health organization.

The Role
We are seeking independently licensed therapists in California who are passionate about working with children and families within a structured, measurement-informed care model.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality virtual therapy while using standardized assessments and ongoing measures to guide diagnosis, track progress, and inform treatment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide evidence-based teletherapy to children (ages 0–17) and their families
- Deliver interventions such as CBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Parent Management Training, PCIT, CPP, and other evidence-based modalities
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation (intakes, treatment plans, progress notes) using our platform
Assessment & Measurement-Informed Care
- Conduct comprehensive intake and diagnostic assessments for child and family clients
- Perform multi-dimensional evaluations, including assessing family dynamics, school environment, medical history, and cultural factors
- Assess risk and safety including SI/HI/NSSI and complete safety plans with clients when indicated
- Utilize standardized clinical measures to support diagnosis and ongoing care
- Track client progress using session-level measures, incorporating both client-reported and clinician-assessed perspectives
- Consistently integrate measurement-informed care into treatment planning
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s-level therapist independently licensed in California (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent)
- Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to children and families
- Demonstrated experience treating common pediatric mental health conditions using evidence-based approaches
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
- Comfortable delivering care virtually and using technology in clinical practice
- Interest in or experience with measurement-informed care and outcomes tracking

Schedule
Minimum 10 client caseload with sessions during California peak hours:
Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–6:00pm PT

$80 per session

Licensing & Location Requirements
Candidates must maintain an active license in the state where services are provided. This role may be performed from the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, MD, MA, MN, MS, MO, MT, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, PA, VA, WA.
