Overview of Role:
As the founding Product Manager of our Property Management Vertical, you will lead the charge in developing and implementing state-of-the-art property management solutions. Leveraging a clean slate and minimal tech debt, you have a unique opportunity to deploy the best technologies from various industries into our business, driving meaningful growth within a new business unit at Hazel Valley Homes. You'll enhancing operational efficiency and elevate the resident experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting and executing a product roadmap for innovative property management solutions that emphasize operational excellence and resident satisfaction.
- Performing in-depth market research and engaging with teammates across the org chart to grasp their needs, thereby driving product innovations.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, especially operational managers, to design and deliver user-centric solutions that streamline property management processes.
- Defining and prioritizing product features and enhancements that meet the practical demands of daily operations and enhance the user experience.
- Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception through launch, to ensure that new tools and features meet strategic goals.
- Developing success metrics for new implementations and using analytical insights to optimize performance and impact.
You bring
- Builder mentality and a ruthless passion for creating automation and operational efficiency.
- Resourceful approach, if a bit hacky. We have a lot to build.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, ideally within the real estate or property management sector
- Strong background in API integrations and systems interoperability as a must.
- Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand and contemplate data models and how to relate them across disparate systems.
- Experience with implementing AI solutions like OpenAI Assistants API or similar technologies is a strong plus.
- Bonus points for experience in Single Family Rentals
- Comfortability working in a landscape of traditional software development, low-code/no-code solutions, and automation platforms (e.g. Zapier, Make, Salesforce, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and coordinate with
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
