The Vendor Specialist at Hazel Valley Homes is responsible for supporting vendor coordination, training, and compliance across the company’s renovation operations. This role works closely with the Vendor Manager to ensure that vendors are properly onboarded, meet quality and compliance standards, and complete work in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an effective communicator who can thrive in a fully remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily communication with vendors.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new vendors.
- Verify vendor compliance documentation (insurance, licensing, etc.).
- Track and report vendor performance metrics.
- Review invoices and support billing accuracy.
- Maintain vendor records in internal systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams on vendor scheduling and availability.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in vendor coordination, construction administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with residential construction, renovations, or property management.
- Basic knowledge of construction insurance and compliance requirements.
- Experience with systems like Salesforce, Monday.com, or SiteCapture.
- Familiarity with NetVendor or similar vendor compliance platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based project management tools.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
