Job Description

Title: Sales and Marketing Communications Associate
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer 
Location: Remote (Eastern or Central US)

Overview of Position

The Sales and Marketing Communications Associate will serve as a key resource to aid the sales team in developing materials and communications for supporters of Dermsquared’s programs and other external partners. The role will interface between the sales and marketing teams to ensure communications and materials fall within brand guidelines.  Responsibilities include building promotional sales aids, communication support for strategic accounts, and drafting sales team communications for public relations. The role will be essential in keeping our external stakeholders up to date on how Dermsquared serves their needs and the needs of HCPS to elevate patient care.

Reporting and Team Structure

This role will report directly to the Chief Customer Officer of Dermsquared with several internal collaborative partnerships including the Director of Marketing to align sales messaging to brand guidelines. 

Responsibilities (with estimated time allocation)

  • Sales Aid Development (45%) 
    • Assist Strategic Solutions team by building sales aids, such as brochures, power point decks, memos, white papers, etc. to showcase the value proposition of Dermsquared’s programs to potential supporters
    • Work with marketing team to establish branded templates for these aids and ensure artwork and messaging aligns with the Dermsquared brand guidelines
  • Customer Facing Communications (45%)
    • Assist account managers on communication logistics with Dermsquared program supporters. Keep track of next steps with supporters via the CRM system (Salesforce.com)
  • Public Communications (10%)
    • Create and amalgamate content, edit, and publish monthly newsletters for Dermsquared reporters to provide program updates
    • Draft talking points to communicate key customer relevant company news and information 

 

Qualifications

  • Exhibits our essential leadership qualities of vision, strategic problem solving, accountability and collaboration, and personal grit
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other business field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in crafting communications or operating within a business development/sales team
  • Functional knowledge of Office 365 tools and creative tools such as those within Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or pharmaceuticals is a plus
