Job Description
Title: Director- Market Research & Product
Location: Remote (East Coast or Central Time is strongly preferred)

Dermsquared is seeking a leader to drive the development and commercialization of a pipeline of innovative Market Research solutions and help advance industry partners’ strategic agenda in serving the Dermsquared community of Healthcare Professionals so they may elevate patient care.
Accountability
The Director, Market Research will be a key part of the Strategic Product Leadership team. They will partner with an externally sourced team to complete all market research projects (quantitative and qualitative). This role will also collaborate with Sales, Data and Transformation teams and other key stakeholders to fuel the adoption of a portfolio of solutions, including qualitative and quantitative products leveraging a highly engaged community of HCPs. The Director will have a demonstrated ability to structure strategic plans in service of a greater vision. They will be a strong collaborator with the ability to inspire and motivate key partners and stakeholders for consistent results outpacing expectations to define the strategic roadmap.
Responsibilities
- As a key member of the Strategic Product Leadership team, lead the Market Research product portfolio of products on behalf of the business with P&L accountability
- Ensure executional excellence with existing qualitative and quantitative products
- Design, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research studies that inform product positioning, client needs, and market opportunities.
- Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behaviors to provide forward-looking insights.
- Apply advanced analytics and statistical techniques to extract actionable business implications.
- Collaborate with externally sourced teams to develop and deploy new qualitative and quantitative products
- Develop and present insight work to client companies
- Ensure data enrichment is an integral part of go-to-market plans for existing and new products
- Oversee external research partners and vendors, maintaining excellence, efficiency, and value.
- Play a critical role in helping shape a new growth strategy transforming business trajectory over the strategic plan horizon
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership essentials
- Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in market research and analytics
- Prior experience in healthcare/pharma/agency market research
- Prior experience in a growing startup or similar environment is a plus
- Travel – estimated less than 20%

- Understanding Pharmaceutical Prescription data (e.g., IQVIA) is a plus
