👩‍💻The role

 We’re looking for a CA Industrial Trainee to join our team in Bengaluru. This internship is designed to give you hands-on exposure to Headout’s core accounting operations. You’ll learn how to manage day-to-day books, assist with reconciliations, and support compliance processes, while also gaining an understanding of how accounting contributes to the financial health of a high-growth startup.
This role is based in Bengaluru, so we’re seeking candidates who are either local or open to relocating.

🤩What makes this role special?

• Financial reporting & Audit liasoning: Preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards and liasoning with auditors for the closure of smooth audit.
• Bookkeeping & Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts, help process invoices, and learn how GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements are accounted for.
• Reconciliations: Support bank, payment gateways vendor, and inter-company reconciliations, track variances, and ensure records are accurate and complete.
• MIS Preparation & Cost saving initiatives: Support in monthly MIS preparation, cost analysis and identifying cost saving opportunities in the P&L.

💝What skills & experience do you need?

✨ You’re Qualified: Currently pursuing CA Final with strong academic fundamentals.
✨ You’re Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Excel, and eager to learn accounting tools like Tally or ERP systems.
✨ You’re Detail-Oriented: You approach tasks with accuracy and ensure entries are precise and error-free.
✨ You’re Curious & Adaptable: You’re eager to understand how accounting operates in a startup and pick up new concepts quickly.
✨ You’re Reliable: You’re committed to deadlines and take ownership of your assigned work.
