Job Summary: Healing Haven is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist in Clinton Township.
We are a state of the art behavioral clinic for children with autism and their families. We believe in treating the family as a whole, and as such siblings and parents are often incorporated into our therapy. Our unique services include a 3-month parent training program, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and day-time center based services for children between the ages of 2-12. Responsibilities
- Lead impactful and engaging 30-minute therapy sessions with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, starting with thoughtful assessments and keeping progress on track with timely re-evaluations.
- Stay on top of documentation by completing daily treatment notes and submitting progress summaries by the 1st of each due month.
- Work closely with parents, BCBAs, and fellow professionals to create a well-rounded, collaborative approach to treatment goals.
- Keep learning and growing by participating in company training and required professional development.
- Track your time with ease by submitting accurate timesheets in line with the Central Reach calendar deadlines.
- Prepare key reports (initials, re-evaluations, authorizations, AAC) that help drive client care forward.
- Support the team by providing supervision to students, clinical fellows, or new hires when needed.
- Protect client privacy by maintaining HIPAA compliance and keeping confidentiality a top priority
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to bend, squat, push/pull, and lift 30 pounds as needed to assist with therapy
Pay range: $80,000-$110,000
