Clinical Director (BCBA)

Pay Range: $85,000–$110,000
(Total annual compensation, including bonus incentives)

Healing Haven is a state-of-the-art behavioral clinic serving children with autism and their families. We are seeking a Clinical Director for our Farmington Hills clinic, which features a renovated, school-style setting designed for children up to age 8, with large classrooms, dedicated therapy rooms, and outdoor play areas.

We take a family-centered approach to care, often incorporating siblings and parents into the therapeutic process. Our services include a 3-month parent training program, speech therapy, occupational therapy, autism diagnostic testing and assessment, and center-based daytime programs.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of BCBAs through supervision, performance reviews, and ongoing clinical consultation
  • Oversee billable hours, productivity, and authorization utilization across assigned clinic(s)
  • Oversee BCBA time and attendance, including PTO and flex time, to ensure appropriate clinical coverage
  • Lead and facilitate BCBA team meetings
  • Attend weekly leadership meetings with the Vice President of ABA Operations and Clinical Director team
  • Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations to ensure compliance with company policies, BACB standards, and payer requirements
  • Supervise mid-level leadership roles within the clinic
  • Provide oversight and support for Behavior Technicians, including onboarding check-ins, training, and performance support
  • Ensure RBT documentation and training requirements are maintained
  • Conduct QBS Safety-Care initial and recertification trainings
  • Lead emergency preparedness and safety drills in collaboration with HR
  • Maintain a minimum of 30% weekly billable hours
  • Perform additional leadership and operational duties as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Active Behavior Analyst license in Michigan
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Behavior Analyst
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience
  • Proficiency in CentralReach and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong knowledge of BACB standards and clinical best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Flexibility to support clinical operations outside standard hours as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to bend, squat, push/pull, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed to support clinical services
