Role Overview

As an Intensive Care Physician Advisor, you will play a critical role in evaluating healthcare startups, assessing the clinical impact of new technologies, and guiding investment decisions. Your expertise in intensive care medicine will help our firm identify high-potential opportunities, mitigate risks, and support portfolio companies in scaling their innovations within the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Due Diligence: Evaluate the clinical validity, feasibility, and scalability of emerging healthcare solutions, with a focus on intensive care medicine and related fields.
• Investment Strategy Support: Provide insights into healthcare trends, regulatory considerations, and reimbursement models relevant to intensive care and critical care innovation.
• Portfolio Company Advising: Offer strategic guidance to portfolio companies developing solutions in intensive care, telemedicine, remote monitoring, AI-driven diagnostics, and other related areas.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Assess the competitive landscape for intensive care innovations, identifying key players, market gaps, and potential investment opportunities.
• Regulatory & Compliance Review: Assist in understanding FDA approvals, CMS policies, and reimbursement pathways that impact intensive care and critical care solutions.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Intensive Care Physician with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
• Strong interest in healthcare innovation, startups, and venture capital.
• Experience with digital health, medical devices, or health system transformation is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations.
• Ability to communicate complex medical concepts to non-clinical stakeholders.
• Previous advisory or consulting experience in healthcare startups, venture capital, or private equity is preferred.
