Key Responsibilities

• Act as the firm’s Medical Geneticist Advisor, providing expert evaluation of genetics-focused healthcare startups.
• Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, assessing the scientific and clinical credibility of genetic technologies.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in precision medicine, gene therapies, and genomics-based diagnostics.
• Collaborate with investors, entrepreneurs, and scientific advisors to shape investment strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory and reimbursement pathways for genetic-based innovations.
• Participate in portfolio company advisory boards and assist in scaling genetics-driven ventures.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or equivalent in Genetics, Genomic Medicine, or a related field.
• Board certification in Medical Genetics preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Geneticist Advisor, clinical geneticist, or genetics researcher with a strong understanding of commercial applications.
• Knowledge of venture capital, startup ecosystems, and healthcare market trends is a plus.
• Strong ability to communicate complex genetic concepts to investors and business professionals.
