Responsibilities

• Serve as a key medical advisor, evaluating potential investments in rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, and physical medicine technologies.
• Assess clinical viability, patient outcomes, and regulatory compliance of early-stage healthcare companies.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), telemedicine, and assistive technologies.
• Collaborate with entrepreneurs, investors, and healthcare leaders to refine business models and clinical strategies.
• Participate in due diligence, offering expert opinions on medical feasibility and market impact.
• Support portfolio companies with clinical expertise, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) Advisor with experience in clinical practice, research, or healthcare innovation.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation technology, musculoskeletal medicine, and digital health.
• Interest in venture capital, healthcare startups, and medical entrepreneurship.
• Ability to analyze business models from a clinical perspective.
• Prior advisory or investment experience is a plus but not required.
