We’re looking for a hands-on VP of Marketplace who will lead our efforts to scale our rapidly growing marketplace ecosystem, which launched in 2024 and currently consists of >60 partners (“Healthie Harbor”). Following in the footsteps of many successful ecosystems like Shopify, Twilio, and Stripe, Healthie is building an interconnected ecosystem to support health tech innovation and enable our providers to access the thousands of possible tools to deliver personalized, longitudinal care.

The VP of Marketplace will be responsible for executing on Healthie’s marketplace strategy. This role will focus on both the supply and demand sides of the marketplace, including partner acquisition and relationships, customer utilization, and new venture opportunities for the business.

This is a perfect role for someone with direct experience scaling a SaaS marketplace while leveraging an existing and growing customer base. Our ideal candidate is results-driven, organized, passionate about healthcare, and committed to improving patient outcomes and experiences.

About the role

The VP of Marketplace will play a critical role in helping us hit our ambitious goals as we look to significantly increase our Marketplace’s footprint in 2025 and beyond. You succeed in this role when our partners are happy, our customers are successfully finding value in our marketplace, and we’re identifying highest potential opportunities to build, buy, and partner.

  • You’ll develop creative strategy across the partnership ecosystem to both complement our current offerings and to accelerate Healthie’s growth. We want you to double down on opportunities and initiatives that deliver repeatable revenue outcomes.

  • You’ll lead the formal relationship-building and growth of our integration partners, core technology providers, and services.

  • You’ll work closely with our Marketing team to develop initiatives to co-market with our partners. You’ll help us be seen, be noticed, and drive utilization.

  • You’ll obsess over the end-to-end marketplace experience. You’ll help provide support, onboarding, and training for anyone who needs it. No matter what you’re working on, you’ll set your sights on the humans on the other end of our marketplace activities.

  • Regulatory compliance is important—so you’ll need to make sure that we’re hitting all the marks for HIPAA and ONC compliant workflows as we build secure and seamless data exchange across all integrations.

  • You’ll manage and report on both the team’s financial plan and performance metrics, focusing on revenue growth, cost control, profitability, NPS, and compliance.

  • You’ll also analyze usage data to figure out whether certain integrations are working as intended, and to help guide ongoing product and feature development for our customers and partners.

  • This role reports to our CEO and will have a few direct reports that you will hire.

Details

  • This is a full-time position located in New York City.
  • The base salary for this role is $190,000-$220,000 per year.
  • U.S. work authorization is required and Healthie does not provide sponsorship.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has done this kind of work before, someone who knows what it takes to make a marketplace run smoothly, and who knows how to build a fast growing business.

  • You have 8-12 years of tactical partnership experience in B2B SaaS. You have tons of partnership management experience either as a manager and an individual contributor.

  • You’ve been the point person on closing meaningful deals and cultivating long-term relationships, and you’re comfortable with negotiating large contracts and operating in good faith.

  • You’re a practitioner. We’re looking for someone who can not only set direction for the marketplace and guide their team through complex integration challenges, but also contribute directly to technical planning, design discussions, and customer support escalations. You must be able to do the work itself, not just talk about the work.

  • You’ve built a team from scratch before. You can identify strong talent and know how to develop and manage a team of top performers. You’ll be in the details when it matters and you know how to bring out your team’s best work.

  • You have to be an excellent writer and cross-functional communicator. You’ll be working with a range of customers and vendors. You’re someone who can take complex topics and break them down using clear and simple language.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
