Your Impact
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the product strategy and execution for our suite of partner enablement tools. This role is responsible for developing the platforms that provide engagement, communication, education, and reporting capabilities, which empower our Broker Partners to successfully execute their unique benefits strategies and drive client adoption.
You will be focused on integrating these tools seamlessly across the entire B2B Partner Lifecycle, ensuring partners can easily prove and sustain HealthJoy’s value. Your leadership in delivering actionable reporting and intuitive tooling will directly power increasing Net Dollar Retention (NDR).
What You’ll Do
- Actionable Value Reporting & Analytics: Define and lead the product roadmap for all partner-facing performance reporting and analytics tools. Ensure reporting provides Broker Partners with the objective evidence they need to demonstrate client ROI, prove program success, and secure long-term client retention.
- Engagement, Communication, and Education Tooling: Own the roadmap for our partner communication platform, educational modules, and client-facing dashboards. Develop features that make it easy for partners to understand, communicate, and teach their clients about HealthJoy’s value proposition.
- Broker Strategy Alignment: Collaborate directly with our Broker Partner team and sales leadership to translate their strategic account needs and content requirements into a clear product vision for their customized HealthJoy Member experience .
- B2B Lifecycle Integration: Partner with the Client Setup domain team to ensure new client data integration and activation are flawless, enabling partners to immediately leverage the full suite of reporting and engagement tools from day one.
- Tool Adoption & Feature Development: Lead the development lifecycle from ideation to launch for new features within the Partner Enablement Suite. Develop strategies to maximize the adoption and usage of these tools by Broker and HR personas.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including Data Science, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure all tools deliver a consistent, powerful message and successfully support the B2B go-to-market strategy.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay current on the competitive landscape for B2B partner platforms, analytics, and CRM/engagement tooling in the benefits technology space.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in the healthcare or health technology industry.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare benefits, provider networks, claims data and the dynamics of healthcare costs. Experience working with or for benefits brokers, consultants, or health plans is highly desirable.
- AI literacy and usage: Practical, hands-on experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or specialized internal tools) to dramatically accelerate routine PM tasks such as market analysis, user feedback summarization, initial spec drafting, and competitive research, freeing up time for high-value strategic work.
- Partner Tooling & Platform Expertise: Proven experience developing and scaling B2B product features, specifically focused on analytics/BI platforms, partner-facing communication portals, or customer/partner success tooling. Bonus: Foundational understanding of core AI/ML concepts (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, model training, RAG) to effectively identify opportunities for, scope, and articulate requirements for AI-powered product features that solve genuine user problems.
- Reporting & Data Visualization: Strong ability to translate complex data (claims, cost, utilization) into clear, intuitive, and actionable insights suitable for a C-level or HR audience.
- Broker & HR Persona Knowledge: Deep experience working with or for benefits brokers, consultants, or health plans, with an emphasis on creating product solutions tailored for the Broker and Employer HR personas.
- Data-Driven: Demonstrated ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including external partners.
- Problem-Solver: A resourceful, creative, and proactive problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and complexity in a fast-paced environment.
Total Rewards
Job Level: Band 40
Base Compensation Range for Job Level: $150,000 - $180,000 annually
The cash compensation above includes base salary only. Certain roles are eligible for additional cash incentives such as commission, annual bonus targets, overtime pay or other variable incentives.
HealthJoy maintains a comprehensive strategy to determine rewarding and competitive packages for individual compensation for new hires, internal promotions and internal job changes. This strategy is based on several factors unique to each individual, including: 1) the skills, experience and qualifications of the individual; 2) the responsibilities and demands of the role; 3) analysis of external market data; and 4) company budget and financial performance.
HealthJoy is a remote-first employer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At HealthJoy, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role and individual.
