TEST - Creative Services Director - HMPG/HR DIRECTOR
Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG), is looking for a Creative Services Director. The Creative Services Director creates and develops targeted, research-driven marketing and promotional campaigns that connect our brand with viewers across multimedia platforms. This leader is strategic, creative and current on the latest marketing trends. The Creative Services Director manages multiple projects simultaneously while elevating the look and feel of the station’s brand. This position also manages and inspires a team of creative professionals and helps develop and produce campaigns that connect the station with viewers across broadcast and digital platforms. You will report to the President, HMPG.
Responsibilities
- Create, lead and implement the station’s brand marketing strategy.
- Manage production of compelling image, sweeps and special event campaigns for all platforms.
- Directly produce or manage the creative team in the production of brand-targeted station and news image campaigns, targeted special reports, daily topicals, commercials, programming and special event campaigns.
- Schedule staff for station promotional events.
- Provide inspiration and direction to help grow the creative team’s skills.
- Coordinate and fulfill special projects.
- Produce and post targeted social media marketing content.
- Identify dynamic multiplatform strategies to increase station brand awareness, resonance and ratings.
- Manage daily promotional on-air content and inventory for daily on-air logs.
- Attend outside community functions and meetings.
- Serve as liaison with networks, syndicators and community leaders regarding station promotional activities.
- Develop and monitor the annual department budget and expenses.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in station marketing, promotion or brand management.
- Strong creative judgment, writing, videography, photography and editing skills, along with the ability to use research to meet station goals.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, videography, photography, WideOrbit and ENPS.
- Ability to lead, create and critique creative concepts and graphic treatments that support the station brand.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with news staff and station personnel.
- Valid driver’s license. Hiring is contingent on a good driving record.
- Related military experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base salary range below represents the Company's good-faith estimate for this position in the posted work location at the time of posting.
A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, education, geographic location and market considerations.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is:
$130,000 - $150,000 USD
