HeartFlow, Director, Strategic Accounts (Imaging Center Sales)

The Director, Strategic Accounts (Imaging Center Sales), will be responsible for launching new accounts and driving patient growth throughout the outpatient imaging center market. These roles can be based anywhere in the U.S, 60% travel may be required. The Director will build and maintain strong relationships with key business clients at all levels (executive, operational and clinical leadership teams). Success in this role will be measured by expanding the number of HeartFlow sites and patients served by HeartFlow products. This position is focused on the non-hospital outpatient imaging center (OPIC) market and includes national cardiology practices and large multispecialty practices. #LI-JB1; #LI-Remote

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target key outpatient imaging providers.
  • Establish relationships with customers (Executive, Physician, Operational, Financial). Must be able to develop, influence, and sustain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Manage the consultative sales process from first contact through contract and be able to communicate product fit, clinical value, workflow and operational fit, customer billing, technical fit, and contracting.
  • Qualify and quantify the HeartFlow product fit and identify key opportunities and  criteria for customer success.
  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure successful contract negotiations and implementation.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies in conjunction with internal stakeholder teammates and customer partners to drive customer growth.
  • Maintain knowledge of the macro healthcare market, technology trends, payer and reimbursement changes, and competitive threats.
  • Partner with HeartFlow Implementation Manager and CT Applications Specialist to shepard the customer through product implementation and then successfully transition customer internally to Account Management function.

Skills Needed:

  • Strategy and planning; relationship building.
  • Consultative sales professional with demonstrated history of sales achievements.
  • Ability to lead and/or influence a cross functional team and operate successfully in a highly complex environment.
  • Deep understanding of outpatient imaging center space and relationships with practitioners in this area.
  • Ability to quickly assess customer/product fit and define the process to success.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking to participate in the creation and execution of the overall account management strategy.
  • Effectively track, manage, and communicate all activities..

Educational Requirements & Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare imaging industry with increases in responsibility in one or more of the following: field sales, strategic account management, consulting, product marketing, medical/clinical experience within the medical imaging space
  • Strong demonstrated understanding of the clinical, business, operational, and financial drivers associated with outpatient imaging centers.
  • Preference for healthcare consulting experience involving new product adoption in the medical imaging market.

This position has an estimated base salary of $150,000-$200,000, total target compensation of $300,000-$350,000 with no cap on variable pay, and includes stock options. HeartFlow is a mature start-up changing the paradigm in Coronary Artery Disease Diagnostics.
