About the Private Equity Vertical
Hebbia’s Private Equity vertical partners with leading investment firms across the spectrum — from global mega-funds to middle-market platforms and growth equity investors. Our customers rely on Hebbia to accelerate workflows across due diligence, portfolio monitoring, value creation, and thesis development.
As a strategically important and fast-growing vertical, Private Equity plays a central role in shaping how Hebbia delivers value to deal teams and operating partners. The team leads go-to-market execution across the PE landscape and works cross-functionally to influence product roadmap, commercial strategy, and long-term account growth.
Job Description
AI Strategists play a critical role at Hebbia: you will be responsible for the strategic value creation and deployment of Hebbia with our partners, shaping the world of AI in enterprise.
We’re looking for ambitious and highly skilled individuals who deeply understand equities and general investing workflows and can lead enterprise engagements with ambitious customers. AI Strategists will be the voice of the customer – understanding explicit and implicit business needs across a multitude of verticals and working with the Product team to inform requirements. A strong candidate requires strategic thinking as we write the value creation and deployment playbook on AI for serious work.

Responsibilities
- Customer-centricity: Deeply understand what makes an investment opportunity attractive to equity investors, their workflows, and knowledge of various documentation required to analyze a proposed transaction – creatively engage with new teams and support existing users to get the most out of Hebbia
- Relationship orientation: Build strong relationships (including at the executive level of large asset managers) and serve as a trusted advisor and go-to leader in AI
- Structured approach: Tackle ambiguous, complex customer and product questions - bringing together a deep understanding of user needs and technical capabilities
- Define roadmap: Shape the future of the product - bring the voice of the customer to our product and engineering teams and strategically advise on the future of the product
- Grow our team: Help to build the Engagement team - with potential opportunity to manage a dedicated team in the near future
Who You Are
- 2-5 years of experience in front-office roles: investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, late-stage venture capital, or corporate development - with proven ability to bring together customer-facing, analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work
- Excellent relationship management skills with senior-level stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset - you see problems or white space and make it yours
- Distinctive analytical and problem solving capabilities: structure ambiguous, open-ended problems, and quickly iterate on solutions
- Innate bias towards action and impact, while working in a nimble and fast-paced environment
Compensation
The OTE compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $230,000. This range may be inclusive of several career levels at Hebbia and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.
