What You Will Be Doing:
You will lead and manage Helion’s security officer force to ensure a safe and secure environment for our people, facilities, and assets. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, performance management, incident response, and coordination with law enforcement and emergency services. You will report to the Director of Corporate Security and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
- Supervise, schedule, and lead a team of security officers across multiple shifts
- Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and post orders
- Conduct routine inspections of posts and patrols to ensure compliance and performance
- Manage incident response and reporting procedures and serve as the primary contact for incidents
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Monitor access control and CCTV systems and ensure proper use by staff
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of security personnel
- Maintain accurate records including schedules, incident reports, visitor logs, and certifications
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to physical security infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on guard force performance and security status to leadership
- Serve as the main contact for first responders, law enforcement, and external vendors visiting Helion facilities
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in physical security, including 2+ years in a management or supervisory role overseeing a guard force
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing shift-based personnel in high-security or critical infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency response procedures, and risk management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with security systems such as access control, video surveillance, and incident management platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Helion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. We are committed to fostering a fair and equitable environment in every aspect of our operations, including compensation.
This is an exempt salaried role.
Annual Base Pay
$110,000 - $145,000 USD
