What You Will Be Doing:
As a Buyer you will complete purchase requests for catalog items and services on behalf of Helion's technical, production and support teams with a focus on moving quickly and providing an excellent level of customer service. Buyers improve our supply base, procurement and finance activities by managing ERP system data, securing improved payment terms with all suppliers and coordinating with Helion's Finance team to tactically close project goals. This is an onsite role that reports to our Sourcing and Procurement manager at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
- Issue purchase orders quickly and without error
- Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
- Review open order reports and manage deliveries, expediting when necessary
- Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time, resolve invoice and receiving snags
- Provide customer service for Helion's internal customers
- Manage supply base of off-the-shelf components
- Coordinate contract management with Legal team
- Negotiate price and payment terms
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent customer service experience
- Proven ability to complete projects and tasks
- Past experience organizing competing tasks and projects
- Proficient in Word and Excel

Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to internal equity - ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams. This is a non-exempt hourly role.
Hourly Pay Rate
$26 - $26 USD
