Schedule is M – F with one Saturday a month and hours are 7AM – 4PM with one late shift of 11AM – 8PM

WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU:

  • Install, repair, and maintain freshwater plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople on construction and renovation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns.
  • Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of freshwater systems and plumbing codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers for operating specialized tools and equipment. 
  • Visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. 
  • Capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects as required by the position. 
  • Proficiency in reaching overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally. 
  • Capability to bend at the waist, kneel, or crouch. 
  • Endurance for standing for extended periods. 
  • Ability to climb or balance for plumbing repairs and installations. 
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 100 pounds with assistance. 

L.A. Hydro-Jet and Rooter Service, a Helios company, determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $32-$35 per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
