The Estimator is responsible for providing accurate and timely quotes for repair jobs and equipment replacement projects. They will play a key role in driving profitability by ensuring quotes align with gross margin targets, while maintaining quality and meeting client needs. This role demands a strong attention to detail, an ability to balance cost control with competitiveness, and a commitment to achieving established margin goals.

This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

What We Need from You:

• High attention to detail in cost and material estimation.
• Achieve between 75 and 100 quotes per week, ensuring consistent throughput.
• Review all quotes thoroughly before submission, ensuring all labor, materials, and margins are within company standard and all incurred costs are accounted for.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple quotes simultaneously.
• Effectively multitask various assignments throughout the day. 

 Qualifications:

• Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Proactive problem solver with self-motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with common diagnostic processes for HVAC service and repair.
• High school diploma required.
• Preferred: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry terminology.

Helios determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $24-26/hour. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
