Remote

About Us:

We’re Helium 10, the leading Software company for Amazon sellers. We move fast, really fast, so we need someone who can keep up. We’re experts at our craft (and if not, we become experts, fast!) and we hold each other to a high standard. Why? We’re shaping the future for Amazon sellers and our customers deserve the best. We make tough decisions, own up to mistakes, and above all, we find solutions to problems.

About the role:

We’re seeking a data-driven and innovative Senior Manager, SEO & Content Strategy to lead Helium 10’s organic growth across web, content, and emerging search platforms. This role will play a critical part in scaling our visibility, driving high-intent traffic, and converting users through world-class SEO and forward-looking strategies for generative AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).

As a leader in organic growth, you’ll own the roadmap for SEO and content, balancing technical excellence with content strategy, experimentation in LLM discoverability, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with product, content, paid, lifecycle, and web teams to ensure Helium 10 is discoverable at every touchpoint where e-commerce sellers search for solutions — now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

SEO & Content Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end SEO strategy across technical, on-page, off-page, and content-driven initiatives for a global SaaS platform.
  • Drive the SEO content roadmap (blogs, landing pages, resource hubs, videos), ensuring assets are optimized for discoverability and conversion.
  • Collaborate with content, web, and paid teams to balance organic and paid strategies, scaling keyword acquisition, topic clusters, and landing page growth.
  • Lead technical audits (site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema, indexation) in partnership with engineering/web teams.
  • Identify emerging content opportunities through competitor research, data insights, and industry trends.

Generative AI & Future of Search

  • Develop strategies to ensure Helium 10 surfaces in generative AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
  • Experiment with structured data, citations, authoritative content, and prompt engineering to influence AI-driven search results.
  • Monitor evolving trends in LLM discoverability and integrate best practices into SEO roadmaps.
  • Build frameworks to measure Helium 10’s visibility and impact within AI-powered search.

ASO (App Store Optimization)

  • Support app store discoverability on iOS App Store and Google Play through metadata optimization, creative testing, and ratings/reviews strategy.
  • Partner with product and growth teams to launch experiments that improve app conversion rates.

Analytics & Performance Management

  • Define and track KPIs across SEO, content, and generative search visibility, including:
  • SEO: organic sessions, keyword rankings, trial sign-ups, conversion rate from organic.
  • Content: content-driven sign-ups, assisted conversions, keyword clusters tied to strategic themes.
  • Generative Search: visibility in LLMs, citations/mentions, referral traffic from AI-driven search.
  • Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure performance by channel and initiative.
  • Regularly present insights, testing outcomes, and forecasts to marketing leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with product marketing, lifecycle, paid media, and affiliate teams to align SEO and content with integrated growth campaigns.
  • Ensure all web and app content is optimized for discoverability, conversion, and downstream pipeline impact.
  • Manage agency partners or contractors as needed to scale execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive SEO/organic growth experience, ideally in SaaS, e-commerce, or consumer technology.
  • Experience working in LLM models
  • Proven track record driving measurable growth in organic search and content-driven programs.
  • Knowledge of emerging search trends, including generative AI and LLM-powered search engines.
  • Deep knowledge of technical SEO (HTML, JavaScript, site architecture, schema, Core Web Vitals).
  • Familiarity with ASO best practices (metadata optimization, creative testing, review management).
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, GSC, Screaming Frog, Amplitude, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with dashboards, forecasting, and storytelling with data.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing external partners or agencies.
  • Excellent communicator who can influence across teams and present to executives.

Benefits:

  • Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance and Pet Insurance
  • 401k with Employer Match
  • Take up to 2 Days of Paid Time Off to Volunteer with a 501c Organization

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
