Senior Business Data Analyst

US Remote

About Us:

We’re Helium 10, the leading Software company for Amazon sellers. We move fast, really fast, so we need someone who can keep up. We’re experts at our craft (and if not, we become experts, fast!) and we hold each other to a high standard. Why? We’re shaping the future for Amazon sellers and our customers deserve the best. We make tough decisions, own up to mistakes, and above all, we find solutions to problems.

About the role:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Sr. Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will focus 50% of your time on product analytics (Amplitude/Segment) and 50% on generic BI (Using Tableau) and data requests/analysis. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data/insight needs and support our analytics and reporting infrastructure using Snowflake and Tableau and Amplitude.

 Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data needs into clean, tested, and reusable data models that support analytics and decision-making.
  • Build and enhance Amplitude dashboards and support deep dives, maintaining a strong understanding of product performance and customer behavior.
  • Create and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights, track KPIs against targets, and leverage forecasting and statistical modeling to anticipate trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Customer Success, Finance, Engineering) to define KPIs, design metrics, and build analytic tools and models that support growth plans and operating targets.
  • Automate and streamline manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce error, enabling broader self-service usage across the organization.
  • Conduct investigations of key business trends, provide context on their underlying drivers, and create impactful presentations that emphasize insights and storytelling, not just raw data.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering on technical requirements to enhance data accessibility, scalability, and accuracy for analytics across the company.
  • Operate as both a collaborative team member and an independent contributor—managing relationships, deliverables, and expectations with business partners effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in analytics preferably in a SaaS company
  • Advanced experience with SQL and Amplitude.
  • Strong experience with Tableau or similar BI tools for data visualization and dashboarding and Snowflake. Familiarity with a customer data platform such as Segment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence business decisions using data and strategic thinking.

Benefits:

  • Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance and Pet Insurance
  • 401k with Employer Match
  • Take up to 2 Days of Paid Time Off to Volunteer with a 501c Organization
  • Paid Parental Leave

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
