At Backpack Healthcare, we believe that behavioral health access should be available to every child, teen, and family—especially in underserved communities. We’re a clinician-led, minority-owned telehealth company on a mission to transform youth mental health care. We’re currently seeking a mission-aligned Collaborating Physician licensed in Georgia to support our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) in a low-commitment, flexible role.

✔️ What Makes This Role Special

• Fully remote—no patient-facing or clinical hours
• $1,000/month for collaborating with up to 4 part-time PMHNPs
• Low time commitment and minimal administrative oversight
• Work directly with a mission-driven, supportive clinical team
• Help expand access to high-quality pediatric mental health care

✔️ What You’ll Do

• Serve as the collaborating physician for up to four PMHNPs
• Review clinical documentation and plans as required by Georgia law
• Maintain availability for clinical consultation (minimal need)
• Support compliance and ensure regulatory alignment with state standards

✔️ What We’re Looking For

• Licensed as an MD or DO in the state of Georgia
• Board certified in one of the following specialties:

  – Family Medicine

  – Pediatrics

  – Psychiatry

  – Pediatric Emergency Medicine

• In good standing with no active board actions
• Interest in telehealth and supporting mental health innovation
