The Role

Are you a go-getter and team player with a problem-solving mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, yet supportive and collaborative environment? If so, let’s talk! The Senior Account Executive on our Consumer Digital team will be critical to the success of our team.

As part of MMC’s Consumer Digital Practice – a pillar of growth and strength at the agency – you will be part of something very exciting! In this role you will be part of a dynamic and high functioning integrated team that supports a portfolio of exciting products in the hair care space. You will also have the opportunity to experience different types of work to explore your passion, from branded consumer programming, influencer efforts, partnerships/integrations, and community engagement.

Responsibilities Include;

  • Create, manage and execute day-to-day social and digital deliverables, including content creation and project and account management.
  • Proactively brainstorm trend forward content.
  • Leadership role in community building.
  • Manage and own social media calendars for major CPG brands
  • Work with team and account leads to develop social and digital strategies for a range of social and online channels.
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and manage individual work streams on program implementation and reporting.
  • Drive local/regional implementation of national promotions and social media initiatives.
  • Provide audience and category insights and expertise to assist in the development of marketing materials.
  • Ensure creative content and marketing support materials adhere to client brand standards.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience creating and executing social media and integrated communications plans for a variety of clients, particularly those in the beauty or personal care area. Agency experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated hands-on social media execution (community management, strategy and content development, blog outreach, paid social executions) across all platforms and communication channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Ability to create assets on Canva, using AI, and self filming.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, especially in creating content and managing social channels for brands on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will translate business and marketing objectives into creative and compelling copy.
  • Experience with social media management systems/platforms is preferred (i.e., Khoros, Sprinklr, Spredfast, Percolate, Hootsuite).
  • The ability to develop and generate support for strategic, comprehensive communications plans that apply creative tactics and use a variety of communication channels, including digital (e-mail, social media, blogs), print publications and brochures, executive memos, face-to-face meeting scripts/talking points, special events, video, and FAQs.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, be assertive, self-starting and a willingness to take ownership is essential to success. This translates to strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to effectively motivate staff and clients.
  • Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver – gets things moving and keeps them on track. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($60,000-$90,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
