We’re looking to add a Database Engineer to our team who is experienced in creating SQL databases for various applications and business uses. You’ll work across teams and use cutting-edge tech to solve interesting, large-scale problems. Creating rapidly, you’ll make a direct and lasting impact anywhere that technology powers our business.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deliver, and implement SQL solutions within the ETL process.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
  • Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
  • Write intensive SQL queries for performance improvements, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
  • Create both dimensional and relational data models
  • Utilize stored procedures and SQL views

Experience

  • Experience as a Data Engineer, SQL Developer, or similar role
  • Proficient in T-SQL programming
  • Experience in data warehousing, including dimensional modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, Query tuning, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Ability to write intensive SQL queries
  • Excellent understanding of stored procedures and SQL views
  • Familiarity with BI technologies, preferably Looker
