Sr. RCM Leads are pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency and compliance of their respective functional areas. With a comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle processes, they manage and develop their teams, ensuring optimal performance and productivity. They serve as the primary point of contact for resolving issues, coordinating training, and overseeing daily tasks. Additionally, Leads collaborate with management to implement and refine policies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the overall success of the RCM department.
Must be located in or near Nashville TN to meet they hybrid requirements. Team is onsite every Tuesday, Wednesday in Nashville, TN.
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Monitor aged AR reports and drive targeted recovery strategies to reduce days in AR
- Identify and resolve underpayments, payer discrepancies, and contractual variances
- Interpret EOBs, remittance advice, and payer policies to identify trends in denials or payment shortfalls
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Clinical Ops, Member Experience, Finance) to uphold revenue accuracy and integrity
- Partner with Finance and Payer Relations to support payment variance analysis and payer escalations
- Supervise and mentor more than one Tend function by maintaining appropriate FTE coverage and managing, developing, and mentoring all teammates through regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
- Allocate work and track productivity to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, conducting monthly QA and productivity reviews with team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Director of RCM to develop, evaluate, implement, and revise policies and procedures related to RCM processes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies, payer requirements, and revenue cycle best practices and provide to team
Qualifications
- 2 years as an RCM Team Lead or 5+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle with 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing AR
- In-depth knowledge of insurance billing, claims management, and denial resolution
- Advanced Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables, vLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, data visualization)
- Strong analytical mindset; capable of drawing actionable conclusions from large data sets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to manage others effectively
- Clear and effective communication with insurance companies, members and internal teams
- Daily / Weekly Tasks:
- Daily - Deliver daily reporting to studio ops and RCM leadership on status of performance of RCM functions
- Monthly - Develop team schedule to ensure FTE coverage to maintain operational needs
- As Needed - Provide coaching and feedback to teammates
- Weekly - provide feedback to RCM leadership re: areas of slippage in weekly leadership standup

Pay Range
$60,000 - $65,000 USD
