Responsibilities:
In this role as a Licensing Specialist you will be instrumental to scaling and streamlining our license monitoring processes, refining our collaborative practice programs, and reducing the onboarding time for new providers. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of interpersonal skills, multi-state licensing knowledge, and experience in managing collaborative practice agreements.
- Oversee and manage the licensure status of healthcare providers to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Coordinate collaborative practice agreements between physicians and providers, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Guide physicians, PAs, and NPs on the filling of agreements and state-required paperwork.
- Monitor and update the list of states where each provider is licensed to practice, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the licensure process, reducing timeframes and improving provider satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external teams concerning licensing and collaborative practice arrangements.
- Implement strategies to streamline the licensing process, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of provider onboarding.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills for coaching and assisting providers with licenses and state-required paperwork.
- In-depth knowledge of multi-state licensing requirements and processes.
- Proven experience managing collaborative practice agreements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistent follow-through on assignments.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with license monitoring software such as: Medly, Verifiable, etc.
- Previous experience in licensing or credentialing roles.
- Experience managing licensing in a large-scale practice setting.

Salary Range: $25-$28/hr
This salary represents Henry Med's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Henry Meds may ultimately pay more or less than the posted salary. The final salary for this position will be determined by Henry Meds sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Henry Meds business and other operational considerations.
