Helper Rate: $20 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and patient helper to assist a 59-year-old male with a spinal injury. He has no mobility limitations but moves slowly and benefits from a calm, understanding, and supportive caregiver.
Care Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and shaving
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide therapeutic massage (if experienced and comfortable)
- Offer general support and ensure comfort during routines
- 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- 1 day per week to start
- Potential to increase to 2–3 days per week (Mon–Fri)
- Schedule is flexible initially but must remain consistent once set
Ideal Candidate
- No experience required, but must be patient and compassionate
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
- Comfortable working at a slower pace
This role is best suited for a patient and compassionate helper who can provide supportive personal care while adapting to a slower-paced routine.
