Helper Rate: $15 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate helper for a 59-year-old male who experienced a stroke in April 2024 and is currently in a nursing/rehab facility. He is looking to transition back home and requires in-home care support to make that possible.
Care Responsibilities
- Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming as needed)
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Run errands
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Transport client to church on Sundays
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Sunday (for church transportation)
- Exact hours to be discussed
Ideal Candidate
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Patient, dependable, and supportive
- Experience with post-stroke care is a plus
This role is ideal for a helper who can provide both practical daily support and meaningful companionship, while helping the client safely transition back into his home environment.
