Helper Rate: $18 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and patient helper to support an elderly female in her 80s who is returning home from a care facility. She has dementia (memory loss) and uses a walker, requiring gentle supervision and support to remain safe and comfortable at home.
Care Responsibilities
- Provide companionship (conversation, watching TV, engagement)
- Assist with light household chores
- Help with grocery shopping and errands
- Offer general supervision for safety
- Support with routine and structure due to memory challenges
- 1–2 visits per week
- 2–4 hours per visit
- Flexible days and times
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with dementia care preferred
- Patient, calm, and understanding
- Comfortable assisting with light tasks and errands
- Friendly and engaging personality
