Helper Rate: $25 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and flexible helper to provide occasional support for a client recovering from a stroke. The client currently has someone assisting once or twice a week but would like to have an additional caregiver available when needed.
Care Responsibilities
- Pick up food and assist with simple errands
- Vacuum and clean floors
- Clean bathrooms
- Dust and tidy the home
- Take out the trash
- Make the client's bed
- Provide general light housekeeping and home organization
- On-call / as needed
- Approximately 1–2 hours per week
- Days and times are flexible and may vary based on the client's needs
- Client would like the ability to request assistance when needed
Ideal Candidate
- Reliable and responsive to short-notice requests
- Comfortable with light housekeeping and simple errands
- Flexible and willing to work varying hours
- Friendly, respectful, and dependable
- Experience supporting clients recovering from a stroke is a plus
This role is best suited for a flexible and dependable helper who can step in when needed and provide practical household support, helping the client maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home while preserving his independence.
