Helper Rate: $18.33 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable helper to support a female client living with Parkinson’s disease. Her husband is at home and provides support, but the family is looking for an additional caregiver to provide some extra assistance with daily routines and activities.
Care Responsibilities
- Provide general ADL support
- Assist with morning routines
- Provide medication reminders/support as appropriate
- Help with mobility and daily activities
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Offer gentle assistance while encouraging independence
- Provide additional support to help the client and her husband
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Approximately 2–4 hours per day
- Morning hours preferred
- Some flexibility with the exact schedule
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with Parkinson’s care is preferred but not required
- Comfortable assisting with general ADLs
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Able to provide respectful support while encouraging independence
- Reliable and attentive to the client’s needs
This role is best suited for a patient and dependable helper who can provide gentle morning support and companionship. The ideal helper will be comfortable assisting with everyday activities and providing an extra layer of support to Mom and her husband while respecting her independence.
